a prada fall winter 2001 brown wool structured top. this season was a nod to 1960s fashion and understated in the best way with some subtle accents. a part of look 14 on the catwalk, this top features cap sleeves, a partial zip closure, and a front flap that snaps open / closed with topstitch detailing, reminiscent of a mod 1960s coat. the virgin wool fabric is also a bit more substantial-- the weight of a lightweight coat.
i love this piece because it has the feel of a well structured jacket but is a top (that is just as easy to throw on). styled beautifully on the runway with a fur scarf worn beneath. full lined in silk.
