a FW 1987 black silk chiffon pleated dress. the construction of this dress is amazing and features horizontal pleating that contrasts the vertical pleating at the bottom of the dress and almost turns the body into a sculptural form. the bottom of the dress is beautiful in movement and was featured in the ad shown here and is shown in movement in the video provided. there were a few dresses designed with the same theme that season, also featured here.
