an emilio pucci by peter dundas layered embellished dress set. this dress features two dresses that can be worn together or separately-- the inner dress is a silk chiffon (also lined in a silk chiffon) embroidered and embellished with pearl beads and sequins with a subtle asian motif and flowers in front and back, the outer dress is a light silk chiffon with frog closures down the sides and at the shoulders and high side slits in the style of a traditional qipao. the genius of this dress set is the way the top layer floats around as you move and the way the asian influence is incorporated into the design but still manages to be very subtle because of the mostly white / silver muted tones. the slightly sporty racerback detail also keeps the dress modern and chic. some amazing design work went into this dress and it's a great modern wedding option.
