dries van noten ss 1997 silk floral embellished bias cut dress and jacket

an archival spring summer 1997 dries van noten silk bias cut dress and blazer jacket set. the dress has a double layer of lining at the bust in the same beautiful fabric as the dress for some coverage and ease of wear (with or without a bra). the fabric is a thin silk chiffon that hangs and moves beautifully and offers the feeling of ease-- casual but not casual, and definitely sexy, while offering some coverage when needed with the jacket.

the runway photos are great for showing the dress in movement. and the runway show from that season is also just phenomenal and reads more like a beautiful performance piece.

fits like a small/medium, the jacket is tagged a 42. in excellent condition.
