a dolce and gabbana spring summer 1997 silk & cotton wedgwood blue chinoiserie embroidered coat. this stunning floral embroidered textile was used in multiple garments that season. three quarter sleeves, lined in an amazing contrast animal print (the mix of the two was the style of that season-- a pioneering and influential season.)

as seen on naomi campbell on the runway, elsa benitez in the campaign ad, and on madonna on stage at elizabeth taylor’s 65th birthday party, where she gave a beautiful speech on stage.

tagged a size italian 44, in excellent condition with minor signs of wear - pictured (the original buttons have been replaced).
