1970s halston semi sheer nude dress

a rare 1970s halston semi sheer nude "naked" dress. partial side seam from the underarm to hips that gives the dress a natural & subtle body-hugging shape. hand done stitching at the neck and arm openings. the double layered organza fabric has a slight high-low hem and the movement of the two textiles adds a surprise drape as you walk, adding just the right amount of interesting detail to a deceptively simple dress (halston was the master of deceptively simple). 

tag US 12 (vintage sizing) equivalent to a modern small, in excellent condition with minor signs of wear (tiny snag at the hip)
