available is a 1940s/50s woven raffia midi dress. the star of this dress is really the stunning textile, which is a raffia-style ribbon made from a fine woven silk and metallic fabric, tan with hints of gold, that was handwoven together to beautiful effect. there was an earlier isabel toledo dress available in the shop that used an incredible ruching technique that created a similar tiered and textured textile-- this dress would definitely be the predecessor to that one. this dress features a slightly lower cut neckline and extra full skirt, with side zip closure. unlined.
fits like a small to medium. in excellent condition - this garment has been hand cleaned for wear.
