available is a stunning 1930s black sheer lace tuxedo ruffle dress. this dress features slightly fuller sleeves with a slight puffed sleeve, lace tuxedo ruffle collar bodice, matching lace ruffle cuffs, a cummerbund sash that ties in back, rhinestone-encrusted square buttons. a close to 100 year old piece piece that is somehow completely modern. the fabric is a fine woven fabric that feels like silk but might be a silk blend (it feels too soft to be synthetic) - almost a chiffon and sturdy, especially for age. side hook closures for ease of wear. shown here without a slip to show the sheerness of the dress but would also be great with a black slip underneath.
fits like a small. in rare excellent condition with minor signs of wear - a few tiny snags, one tiny darn behind right sleeve. the hem has a few small repairs and wasn’t hemmed in order to keep the dress the same length but it can also be shortened by an inch if desired.
